The 52nd Japan Karatedo Itosu-kai National Karatedo Championships were held in Kure city, Hiroshima on August 24th and 25th.
Itosu-kai did not hold National Championships in 2017 because we held the international championships in Shang Hai, China. Also, we were supposed to have National Championships last year but it was also cancelled for heavy natural disaster which hit Hiroshima area. So, it’s been 3 years to have National championships.
This year, we had about 860 competitors from Japan and some international branches.
