I would like to inform you about the recent participation of R.J. Alexander, the chief Instructor and representative of Itosu-kai Sri Lanka branch, as a Referee in the 22nd Cadet, Juniors, and under 21 Asian Karate Championship held from 23rd to 25th August 2024 in Manila, Philippines. During the event, R.J. Alexander had the honor of being pictured with the Asian Karate Federation Referee Commission Chairman, Mr. Mansour Al Sultan, and all the other referees who officiated in the competition from Asia. This participation underscores our ongoing commitment to contribute to the development and promotion of karate in the Asian region. It also highlights the dedication and expertise of our representatives, showcasing their capability to engage in international events with professionalism and competence. We believe that such opportunities not only enhance the skills and knowledge of our representatives but also reflect positively on the reputation of Itosu-kai within the international martial arts community.
