We are excited to announce the launch of our online classes via Zoom!
Itosu-ryu Karatedo has preserved over 50 kata (forms), and our motto is "One kata per month," ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all kata over the span of four years.
In the past, karate kata and techniques were considered secretive. However, with the development of books, videos, and YouTube, many have been introduced overseas. Still, it is questionable whether the correct techniques and kata have been adequately transmitted to karate practitioners abroad. Due to borders, language barriers, and other physical constraints, only a few have had the opportunity to learn directly from Japanese instructors. This issue also appears within the Itosu-ryu Karatedo International Federation.
To address this problem, we are starting online classes using Zoom. Over the course of approximately four - five years, we will review all the Itosu-ryu Karatedo Kata.

Eligibility: Open to both Itosu ryu members and practitioners of other styles.

Completion Certificate: Participants who complete one year of training will receive a semi-completion certificate from the Itosu-ryu Headquarters. A full completion certificate will be awarded after 5 years.
